We had no Daylight savings time from sometime in the mid 1940's till 1966 and best I can remember all was well. The U.S restarted it in 1966 and continuously most people I know have complained, twice pr. yr. about the having to change again. Most every yr. there is talk for a couple of weeks, around the changes, to quit it again, but then not mentioned again till the change once again is here. Not sure if our govt. will ever repeal DST again, but if ever put to a vote from our citizens, I feel pretty sure it would again be repealed.1983 GS1100E, 1983 CB1100F, 1991 GSX1100G, 1996 Kaw. finally read link in orig post... Are we having another controversy? It says B.C. is permanently adopting DST, Premier David Eby announced Monday. Then says that U.S. President Donald Trump expressed interest in eliminating DST. Permanently adopting or eliminating, I probably wouldn't care which, long as we stop changing twice pr. yr. I prefer motorcycles that don't have clocks on them. That’s my opinion and it aught to be yours.
