The western states have been talking about this after we started the conservation several years ago so after waiting and waiting we decided to just do it. Hopefully they'll follow our lead. Alberta, the province next to us is now considering no longer moving their clocks back and forth as well.'84 GS750EF (Oct 2015 BOM) '79 GS1000N (June 2007 BOM)Comment

Yes, the message before was..."let's see what our biggest trading partner does first..." Well Eby is done with the US so this was his jab imo. Works for me

Who was the musician (recently passed) who sang, "You've got to deep six your wristwatch..."?Almost forever I'd thought Suzuki should have put the Champagne paint on the "83", with all that black stuff, eng., exhaust, handlebars, starter cover, shocks, mirrors, thought the contrast would be good. No, I finally saw one, and not near as nice looking as I'd thought it would be. Now thinking probably the "82" Maroon or the "83" Fire Eng. Red would look better with all that Black stuff from "83".... Do realize, just another opinion. There's probably somebody out there that has the opinion that hideous dank dark Blue with all that black looks good,.. Heck, on mine I can't tell where the body stops and the eng., exhaust, and all that other black stuff start, just looks like one big blob of darkness.

I vaguely remember that one high school winter. 'Tricky' Dick Nixon did that (73-74?); I think it was related to Arab oil embargo?
I think he canceled going back to standard time in November and we just stayed on DST all winter. Anyone remember that?
