I was going to pick Gustovh, as the crack appears to be below all the goo, but then Trevor posted late & reminded me a of a 90's era river crossing on free to me 1979 CR 250. Still have it.
I believe I had the 2nd lightest bike & made it across with slimy basket ball size boulders to negotiate. Friend on XL 350, tipped over, fouled his plug, other friend's Husky 501 got overwhelmed by current & back end started drifting down & another friend, trying to be fastest on KTM 250 broke his wrist on a wet diagonal root cluster on the far side of river. Both XL guy & KTM guy had get back across river & XL guy had to push 2 miles back to the trucks & KTM guy had ride back with one hand.
We were trying to find the abandoned Scott paper mill in Lyman WA for some reason. Later Husky guy took the end of handlebar to the gut, trying to hop a large fallen tree.
Think that was when we turned around. Somehow, bar to gut guy & myself made it back to the trucks, but one guy was still missing. He was on a RM125 & I didn't mention earlier cuz he made it across the river. RM guy made a wrong turn somewhere & got stuck behind a Massive DNR gate with giant boulders on either side, he came back to the trucks on foot with no bike.
Broken wrist guy took off earlier along with all of RM guy's stuff that was in the truck.
It took the remaining 3 of us to walk/push the RM over the giant boulders & basically hand the bike down on the far side.
So picking Trevor's shot this week.GS\'s since 1982: 55OMZ, 550ES, 750ET, (2) 1100ET\'s, 1100S, 1150ES. Current ride is an 83 Katana. Wifes bike is an 84 GS 1150ESComment

Voting for Trevor and his water crossing adventure. I have crossed water that was a foot deep on one week and 3 feet deep the next, it looks exactly the same until you are tank deep...........Comment

Good Saturday morning, all. Guess the usual suspects all slept in. I logged on only to confirm my goose-egg for this week. I was not disappointed.
The tally:
Baatfam - 1
marvinsc - 2
gustovh - 1
Carter Turk - 2
trevor - 4
With Trevor as the clear winner this week. Could someone please double check my counts?
Otherwise, Trevor, congrats. Let's have a new theme.
If anyone wants to see a record of past themes, winners, etc. here's a link to my POTW log.
