THe surprize came a few minutes later, just beyound what road see here.
I was surprized at HOW steep that was.
26% doesnt seem like a big number, but it is when talking about grade of a road.
SOuthern California, north of San Diego, by Oceanside (Camp Pendelton area).http://webpages.charter.net/ddvrnr/GS850_1100_Emblems.jpg

Attending the recent BC rally, out with a group for the morning, after lunch I went off on my own near French Lick, looking for nothing in particular but maybe something other than asphalt to ride on, some scenery I hadn’t yet discovered. Wow, did I find something unexpected; an extremely large wooden Bigfoot in a remote camping area. I’d almost forgotten about it until looking for a photo to post for this theme. I decided to do a little research. You can read all about “Otis” here.

I didn't expect that when I removed the Windjammer from my '83 850G and started trying to find replacement headlight and turn signals, I would find those exact parts, from this exact year and model that were taken off at the dealership and lost in someone's attic for 40 years. All of these parts were still wrapped in a newspaper from 1983.
