I have to take the broad view on this one, for my choices are limited to two. Here I sit on my 850 and take a picture of the sun setting on the telephone pole on a very smoky day on main street.

That is unless there happens to be a sunset here in the next few days, which I doubt.

Do you care to clarify? Or leave it open to interpretation either way?
Your submission is clearly the second idea, so some folks may vote that way, but submissions might be the other way.

My thought was, what is the setting sun's golden light falling on.

Bob looks to have captured it.

I pretty much thought so. (was just trying to politely alert those that didn't make that distinction.)

Little bit of golden color (must have not been humid or would be more color)

I've been a little on the fence about which pic to use, as they don't exactly fit the assignment, but I'm going with this one.

Looking around for something completely unrelated to the game, and found this pic.
Is from a different day, different year, different spot, but similar setting of low angle sun at sunset, down by beach, with shadow on duneside.
But this one is more about the light of the sunset and less about the shadow, and a bit more color.

It's not a blazing colourful sunset on this evening shot but the sun is definitely low in the sky and lighting up a bunch of old Suzuki's.

That was taken during the 2010 PNW rally that Vince hosted. Somewhere in S. W. Washington state on the way back to his place from Mt. St. Helens.

What is the sun setting on? The gravel. This is a documentation pic taken on an evening ride in the same place and time of day as all the bikes I've owned. They are pinned to the shop cork board cuz they're nice to look at, especially in January.
