Ronald was the first motorhead friend I made after moving to TN. (And our wives are friends, also)
Bikes, boats, and cars all his life, but his first love is Hot Rods. Been driving his car to shows all over the country for years.
Last summer his was in a wreck, and totaled his rod of 20-25 years, so he bought another.
So here is my something old, Ron's new hot rod Ford. (Chevy motor, of course)
This photo was from last summer, and it looks a little different now.
He did a lot of work over the winter. Kind of a perfectionist.

Here's an old drive in theater we visited last night In Las Vegas, NM. Talk about a by gone era. Saturday night at the drive in was a favorite for all of us. Last time we saw one was over 25 years ago. Certainly when this bike was new, I enjoyed movies like Return Of The Jedi, War Games, James Bond/ Octapussy and so on. I loved going to the drive in. Who didn't?

When the gate attendant asked where we were from, he said just go on in! I suppose the $20 entrance fee applies to cars only, LOL. I guess he figured I couldn't fit very many friends in this trunk!

The movie started just before dark.

I thought about posting a pic of my bike parked next to a 66 Riviera. It's not a great shot though.

We moved into the house that I built 10 years ago. It sits on 11 acres of pretty flat wooded land with a small crick that runs through it. One of the things that we really like about our place is the 70 year old ceder stumps that dot the place. One of the largest sits on the edge of our back yard, the top of which exceeds 6', so here is my submission for "old".

Fun fact - the bike is leaning on the wall here held up by the bar and mirror... I'm dumb....
