I deleted my first entry as it wasn't really "on the road"...this pic I took a few years ago on the Pat Bay Hwy near my home....I had stopped to help a stranded car and it's driver....walked back towards my bike and loved the shot.

In my opinion, this is one of the best looking bikes on this whole site, hands down.
I like the shot too by the way.

Line 'em up and throw a dart blindfolded...all great shots this week, helped by the theme and you can't go wrong.

I'm going to give the nod to Burque73 this week for his play on the wording, and an honourable mention to GustovH as it looks like that is the new sidecar in action.

I'm gonna go with baatfam. Something about the layout draws me in to get on the road.

                              Man !
Went to make a "short list", and have eight on the list.

                              To comment on a few:

My pic features the bike and the road, Bike ON the road. But the resolution is a determent. Is an pic from an old digital camera, and over zoomed-in in an attempt to feature the road and minimize the stuff on side of the road.
(and if you are wondering: Around the corner a couple miles are "Road Closed Ahead" signs, and mile or so behind me is a bridge under construction.)

Storms (mine actually) is interesting. Are many features of the pic I like, mostly the wake and the reflection and how can actually see the water flowing across and over side of the pavement. And, for me, hearing Norm laughing as he went bye adds to the picture for me (but is not in the picture). The road itself is a minor feature of the picture.

I am impressed that Trevor, in that situation especially, thought to get a picture. Intersting place to park, and the lines on pvement seem to point to the bike.

Dorks is an interesting scene, for the sky and clouds and all. WOuld have liked to have seen more of the road.

Cowboy did well with a tough situation of the spotty sun. A great scene. A top contender. The bike and the road, bike on the road. If Had found a differnt spot maybe with the facing side of bike better illuminated, that could have put it over the top.

I choose bob baatfam for a vote, based on my tiebreaker consideration of the road being the major element of the picture, and it being well composed. Really shows what the ride is like. Really shows the road. And I will admit to having been impressed with that pic before, and having copied the general composition a few times.

Had 850G for 14 years. Now have GK since 2005.
