Too tight Steve...If the red package in the foreground was in focus, it would make more sense.

      Might not be his.

I know there were others there that were more-likely the users.

Had the best time at Scout Camp last week. I have done at least one week of camp every year since 2008 or so when my now 18 yr. old Eagle Scout was a Wolf Cub Scout. So I'm going to post a pic from camp even though I don't own the machine I was riding, and you can only see a small bit of the rear fender, and it's a quad, not a motorcycle per se. The powers-that-be can feel free to DQ my pic, that's OK. Goose Pond Scout Reservation has an ATV program for scouts 14 and over. So Noah, being 14, was really excited to get to do this. I was really excited to be able to ride a quad with his group on Friday because one of the other scouts (unfortunately for him, fortunately for me) had to leave camp that morning. Noah loves to ride my GS with me, but this is the first time we've ever gotten to ride separate machines, together. After 4 days of instruction on a course, (and an hour "crash-course" for me), we did a trail ride on Friday. We had a blast! Certainly not the scout camp of my youth.
        My submission, if allowed: OLD-Me | New-Noah

        More pics just for fun.

Ah.... spent well over an hour searching for this pic.

Here, this rusty steam engine tractor makes my 37 year old bike look new.

other pic for no real reason

I had intentions of juxtaposing the NOS gas tank in the foreground with the crappy one with bad bodywork, bad paint, and bad gas still in it that is in the back. Instead I became seduced by what I consider to be some nice lines on the tanks.
This is the first time I've seen that tank in about two years. Its still like opening a present every time. I looked looked on the shipping tag on the box.... I've had it since 2005, still awaiting the day that my bike is worty of installing it...

An old steel bridge originally built in 1933 carrying Route 66 over the Rio Puerco (pig river) West of Albuquerque. This bridge was replaced with the new boring design on the left of the pic here, and made obsolete when I-40 rolled through the area in the late 50's.

Here's a picture taken in 2008 somewhere on the California coast. Two flagship 1000cc Suzukis, mine from 1979 and my buddies from 2007. They've changed a bit over the years and yes touring on a GSXR1000 ....ouch.
