Obviously the theme is "road trip", amiright?

Image quality can be seductive and sometimes slickness can overshadow or replace artistic content. A musical analogy would be the contrast in artistic content between a simple blues number from a one man, self taught player with a cheap guitar compared to the complex, highly managed, high tech stadium production of an Celine Dion* concert. Tools are important but not as important as artistic sensibility.

The contest format seems to equally allow all photographers a stage for their work. I enjoy the offerings every week.

Rich why don't you pick something? You were in second place....I've won before when I was out of town a conceded to the second place finisher to allow the game to move on....It's weird because Jedz knew he was going to be the winner before he took off on his trip.

If everyone's good with that, in the interest of keeping the game moving, and we've already lost a day w/out a theme, as the person with the next most votes last week, I'll pick a theme. If anyone isn't OK w/that, chime in, and we'll figure out something else.

So the theme for this week is "Big Sky". Lets see your most dramatic clouds, sunsets, sunrises, storms, whatever.

Could be, but it requires a picture.

                          Best,
It's good to hear you're safe and just out enjoying the weekend. I was beginning to wonder...

Also, awesome that you're a good sport.

New Mexico is known as the Big Sky State, or wait maybe that's Montana. Anyway, I'm sure I can find something.

Seems that we should have some specific rule/protocol for winner stating next theme-category, some required time limit.
I could go with Sunday midnight..... or maybe this might be more reason to choose an entire different vote day..... but that was discussed before.
