Hum…: the early birds must not be available this morning.
So I’ll do a count from coffee shop.
Bob Baatfam 1
ron gs750 2
carterT 2
gustov 1
Eli with the last 4 votes to go well ahead with total of 6. (Typically would hold the late vote and use as tie breaker if needed. This week it doesn’t alter the result.)
So, congrats Eli, you have the honor. And the duty to state a new theme/category/subject.

Eli for me as well.
Actually reminds of a spot your direction Eli.
Used to be a frequent visitor to Chestnut Ridge, thirty minutes or so south of Buffalo.Leave a comment:

for the theme, I would say the pic needs to feature the road. ANd look like an remote area, well, anyway, that is what forest roads look like that I know.
Liking marv, Carter, Eli , Gustov & baatfam.
Vote for Eli, although at first I said "thats in the woods, but not on the road..."
and then later said "..oh, there is the road..... not much of a road, especailly for that big of a bike..."Last edited by Redman; 10-17-2025, 03:38 PM.Leave a comment:

Eli for me this week. The choice of bike on that trip was my 450 Rebel, 919, or 80 1100 L. Yes Carter it was a fun downhill.

Gustovh for me. It looks like a little turning narrow downhill action lies ahead.Leave a comment:

Any bike is a dirt bike if you believe. (and have the right tires)

For me a GS on dirt and gravel is waaaay different than a dirt bike on dirt and gravel... but that's just my thinking.Leave a comment:

I started riding dirt bikes at age 12, and it just stuck with me, I guess. Can't seem to stay out of the dirt.Leave a comment:

I'm voting 1978GS750E just cause, like me, he's not gon'na ride his street bike on those gravel and dirt roads and trails... A little surprised how many on here do.Leave a comment:

I'm voting for Mr CarterTurk this week. As a bike-n-hiker I like seeing my bike from a distance when I get done with a walk. In fact, some times it's good to be able to find it at all.Leave a comment:

Hear, hear!
And thanks for doing the recap.
