    LOL!

So, here's how I wound up with that odd setup (post #5306). I picked up the soft tail trunk first. A week later, I was offered the hard trunk for free. I liked that the hard trunk has a brake light and looks good with the bike, so it became the pantry stuffed with MRE's and snacks. The soft one had room for my sleeping bag, a gallon of water etc. We were camping and only stopped for gas on that trip.

Sorry, just remembered I didn't comment on this. Now back to regularly scheduled programming...

As much as I like Trevor's garage party for some reason I'm going to vote for Gustvos picture.

Several really nice submissions this week. I went through them multiple times but I have to vote for Bourque this week, the happy couple in the foreground with the bike centered in the background is a really nice capture.

THanks. I rechecked also, but have been known to make same error again.

My lack of expertise in picture posting is glaring. I just upload them from my computer and link them. And how I resize them on the computer does not seem to effect how they display on the thread. This was my first attempt with a vertical stripe cell phone picture. It made the horizontal wide enough to fill the screen and scaled the vertical accordingly. I needed for it to be the other way around.

If there are any members who can tip me where to get smart on screen sizing control they are likely on this thread. I would be very receptive to their counsel.

dpep, if I open a file pic on my pc, in the top right corner there are three dots (right under the X to close the window). That gives a drop down menu with an option to resize the image. One image I'm looking at has a current size as 7.1MP. The three options are .25MP, 2MP, 4MP and Custom.

Maybe resizing the pic before uploading it will solve the issue.

Edit, then again that may just reduce the quality and the file size, not the image.

I have played around with the resizing/resampling. That particular picture is only 193kb. I make it a point to keep uploaded pics below 1mb.

What would be helpful is a switch or setting that would give priority to the vertical being one screen dimension and reducing the horizontal in ratio. The default seems to be for the horizontal. There is probably an html tag for that but I haven't gotten around to looking for it.
