OK, been mulling over this long enough.

I got a kick out of Trevor's shot, so his gets my vote this week.

Cool scooter, night time, empty street, Glen (Dorkburger) this week for me.
        sigpic2002 KLR650 Ugly but fun!
2001 KLR650 too pretty to get dirty

Life is a balancing act, enjoy every day, "later" will come sooner than you think. Denying yourself joy now betting you will have health and money to enjoy life later is a bad bet.

Man! My short list is 3/4th of the submissions.
Maybe I am getting more indecisive , or maybe they are all that good, but each in a different way. Any critisim of any of those would be just minor things.

Agemax really shows details, and shows where all the other items are missing to make it empty.
Baatfam looks like had to use some photo skill, and interesting use of available lighting, and interesting that shows the light on the floor to show empty parking area in garage.
Trevor is an action shot, can tell something needed gas, so empty tank. Also shows puzzlement over how to operate a new gas can hee hee.
RIch nicley posed empty frame. Kerry K'funk shows what only see when move in (or out) with empty cabinets.
Dork nice night pose, would look to be posed for "empty" if saw more of the street. Somewhat Similar comment for Roger Burque.
RKroby does show long empty road, Do T's stand up that straight on sidestand? Or maybe is propped up on a stone or something to pose that way. (I have done that a few times.)

For pic that held my interest, is the most pleasant, and says empty, I'll vote for Burque by a narrow margin over 5 others.
Nicley exposed night shot. Interesting lights, shining/reflecting off the bike. Empty streets, sidewalks, storefronts, parking meters all give the idea that should be other stuff and other activity there.

            Good morning .

That was a real fun group of pics from everyone. It seems like there has been more broad interpretation lately which adds a lot to the enjoyment of this thing.

            I counted 13 submissions with 14 votes.

            My count
            Rkrby 1
            Dorkburger 2
            Agemax 1
            Redman 1
            Trevor 3
            Cowboy 1
            And my photo recieved 5.

Pleas verify my count on these. I was up way too early and my eyes kinda hurt from the lighted screen here.

I don't think my photos have ever won two weeks in a row. Thank you for the votes.

We are heading out for the day here shortly so I'll try and get something up for the new theme in a few.

Confirm, Mr Roger Burque, with 5 votes.

Yes, that was an interesting topic-theme, a picture of something that is not there. Bob baatfam's pic made me realize that, with the light shining on the empty floor and rest of garage darker.

Okay, Roger, what you got for us this comming week??

Since mother's day in the US is tomorrow, lets do a mother theme. If your mom isn't around or won't get near your bike, interpret mother as you will.

                      Mother.

I look like I'm 6'4" tall next to my mom. In reality, she's only 4'9" though. haha

For some of us 'mother' would be a memorial theme. That's a lovely idea Burque.

I got my first motorcycle in 2008, when I was 36. My mom was around 66 at the time. She didn't like that her baby got a motorcycle, but she saw that it gave me joy, and she let me take her out for a three-mile loop. She was pretty terrified.
Happy Mother's Day to Mary! Thanks for the genes!

so either my daughter (who was 5 years old) or my father (67) must've taken this picture. I woulda said my wife, but I can see her feet walking out of the house. Ha.

Good idea for pics of some interest.
Pics of my bike and my mother would be only one pic, and for that will involve the musty slide boxes in the basement. Yes, that endeavor would be "in memorial"
(Although maybe not much different than the two posted already.).
