Life is a balancing act, enjoy every day, "later" will come sooner than you think. Denying yourself joy now betting you will have health and money to enjoy life later is a bad bet.

I've seen tornados throw vehicles around, but your recent storms were brutal!

(No disrespect intended for actual loss during recent storms)

In case this picture doesn't make sense... It's a very dirty GS1000E tank full of kerosene and nuts and bolts and brass fittings, being spun in a cement mixer. After that it was given a POR15 treatment and is working well to this day.

Making some progress (and some frustration)

Progress was getting two pistons in the sleeves, and getting cyclinders to lower - some.

Frustration was that cylinder not lowereing any more.

Found that cam chain tangled up beside the tensioner guide, and then both stuck in cam chain tunnel. So had lift up cylinders to fuss with that situation, then I put bungie cord (can see there) to hold back the tensioner guide.
THen got cylinders a little further down, but stuck on something again (occassion of this photo).
Took me a long while to figure out that with the tensioner guide held back by bungie cord, then the top end of the tensioner guide was stuck in the hole there for the tensioner . . . . Dhoah

So that is actaully a picture of "Work In Not-Much-Progress".

Other progress, was the idea progressing that the reason I have bikes is NOT so that I can work on them.

Caliper maintenance and inspection. All original parts, none new were needed. I was pleasantly surprised at how good they were. I do change the fluid every few years.

Pretty sure it's Thursday, but maybe we decided to move up a day because of the holiday?

Did I miss something? Did we decide to put the voting up on Thursday because of Christmas Eve on Friday? I'm not opposed to the idea. Just was't sure.

I'll vote for gustovh's contraption. I'd ride in it.
