Working on a house way up in Rochester I would leave my tools there and take the bike to save gas. One day I got caught short of 2x4s so I took my cordless saw to the lumber yard and bought a couple, cut them up in the parking lot and saved the day. Too bad I didn't get pictures of the rolls of PEX tubing from later in that job. Much more colorful.

That's just all kinds of wrong. Why didn't you use that one mile as a warm-up for the 5k then you would have another 1 mile for the cool down run.Larry
