Good morning GSR, time to add up the votes for this week's photo contest.

With more than a half dozen (seven) goose eggs, that is more than folks with a vote!
That is more than two 3egg omlets!
            Lucky number 7? I don't think so.

            With one vote each.
            Redman
            Baatfam
            (better than most)

            With two votes each.
            Steve Murdock
            Gustovh
            (much better than most)

And with the commanding win with FIVE votes, "Scooter in the Sky"
            Dorkburger!
Great picture Glen, please tell us how you did it. What's your secret?
Also, what do you have for us next week?

(all great photos, thanks for playing along)

Hey all, thanks. Norm, there was no sorcery in the creation of the pic. A late afternoon thunderstorm came thru leaving in its wake some lovely clouds lit by the setting sun. Just a lucky crossing of weather, timing, and observation.

Sorry for the late response. Work / overtime called earlier. Sadly I may have little to no new GS content this year, but I've been having a ball with the scooter and gas bike so far this summer.

New theme since it's been crazy hot. Summer refreshment. This pic was made last night. The scoot behaved.

Being something of a summer-tourist-beach town here, there are some summer only food places.
Butch's Beach Burrito is one that I like.

I suppose you have to take my word for it that it is summer. THe place is only open for season of late May into early September.

Set out this evening to grab a pic. Had an idea to have my bare feet in a stream with my bike in the background. Knew the spot I wanted along a forest road. Road sloped the wrong way to park safely so went further to an uphill wide hairpin turn to swing around and come back. Got off balanced on the uphill turn and dropped the bike. Thank goodness the hard panniers were on and kept the bike from laying all the way over with the tank pointing downhill. The strain, as it was, sure didn’t do my hernia any favors. After picking the bike up and collecting myself, headed back down the hill only to see that the stream was too dry for the pic I envisioned. Oh, what we do for this silly game. Here’s the consolation pic. Oh and the hernia surgery is scheduled for August 30th.
