I looked up Kootenays. It's a beautiful Canadian National Park. It features the Kootenay river, waterfalls, mountains and wildlife. It seems like a fantastic place to visit in the middle of nowhere...

So, how about for next week subject "The middle of nowhere" someplace off the beaten path...
20210615_101302.jpg This picture was in Colorado. I had to pee, so I took a dirt road off the main road... next thing I was in the middle of nowhere.
    My Motorcycles:
22 Kawasaki Z900 RS (Candy Tone Blue)
22 BMW K1600GT (Probably been to a town near you)
82 1100e Drag Bike (needs race engine)
81 1100e Street Bike (with race engine)
    79 1000e (all original)
    82 850g (all original)
    80 KZ 650F (needs restored)

2001 KLR650 too pretty to get dirty

Life is a balancing act, enjoy every day, "later" will come sooner than you think. Denying yourself joy now betting you will have health and money to enjoy life later is a bad bet.

Road in Hood River County, Oregon
The Barlow Road is a historic road in what is now the U.S. state of Oregon. It was built in 1846 by Sam Barlow and Philip Foster, with authorization of the Provisional Legislature of Oregon, and served as the last overland segment of the Oregon Trail. Off the beaten path...

Mr. Cohen? I'm not getting the reference. Did he write "Cinnamon Girl"? Or "Mr. Soul" or "Down By The River"? Does he come from a town in North Ontario?
