Another pic from my archives. Was riding through a town on the outskirts of Dartmoor UK one sunny afternoon and they were holding an outdoor music festival on the main street with various bands playing outside the shops. Took the opportunity to stop for some liquid refreshment and a bit of musical entertainment.

In downtown Lewisburg, The Campus Theatre is owned, operated, and was recently completely renovated by Bucknell University. This is one of the few remaining traditional movie houses in my area. Great place to see a film. My wife and I plan to go see The Rocky Horror Picture Show later this month. Haven't done that since college.

The old train freight depot was moved to the City Park years ago and serves as home to "Playhouse in the Park".

Theater in our town aint a theater any more.

Rode up to Muskegon. Big theater there built in the 1920s, and then sat unused for most all of the 70s. Then a community group took it over.
Now is great.

In fact, Saturday, we went to a Buster Keaton film festival there.

And he is still there

Those old art deco Theatres are getting rarer all the time, the one here burned in the early 1960's. There is one in Paducah KY 37 miles away that is being restored.

thank you mr. rich82gs750tz. i planned on putting my entry on the flickr when i got home. i think i'll do that now so there's no confusion.

this coaster is at the local 7 flags human entertainment facility. i never pay to go there cuz i'm too cool but i have gotten in for free a few times. got free tickets to see alice cooper and slipknot there. i also had a chance to ride this coaster but i was very hungover and figured i would probably barf. my official entry:
