Soda is something for baking "Baking Soda", and pop is your father. Around here let's go get a "Coke", not coca cola, or let's go get a cold drink, usually not water, means go get a soft drink, may be any kind, Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, Nehi grape, ski..... Pops and Sodas just don't happen around here, cept for from folks that moved here from someplace else...
