Great shot Glen. Any idea what kind of frog that is?

As usual I haven't been around much. Been out enjoying the new trailer this summer. Just totalled my log book. 4,100 kms travelled with 28 nights in the trailer. Anyway, a couple of photos from one of our wonderful provincial parks. Wells Gray Provincial Park, Clearwater Lake and Trophy Mountain meadows. It's great to unleash the Tacoma from the trailer and get into the mountains. One thing we couldn't do with the RV. In 2 days we're headed out to some local backcountry areas for another 5 days barring anything happening with some local forest fires.

Thanks Sandy. I did a quick check the the frog appears to be a Green Frog. Had a tough time finding him in the viewfider wnen zoomed in. The picture is cropped as well.
Love the shots from your trip. Such beautiful country.

edit.... duh, this will most likely be underwater when the resorvior level rises.... such a fickle hobby this photography.....

Cropped and rotated to portrait reflection shot from recent. I absolutely love the shapes, but was hoping to get a lighter background on the top. I'm hoping to retry at some point with a longer lens and maybe after the leaves fall so there's more light on the water surface. It may be tough in the fall as the reservoir is now at its summer low plus drought and I had some dry ground to work from. Untitled by Glen Brenner, on Flickr

A recent photo endevour: custom neon signs lit up st night.
is only a few around any more, and some of them not in operation.
I have been on hunt for them around town in recent weeks.

this is one of the bigger prominent ones in the area. Can see some segments on the edge are not operating.



can set exposure for seeing the lit up tubes only. Can se exposure so the sign illuminates the surrounding area, but then don’t see the tubes them selves. I like this sort of compromise where see some of the surrounding area, see the neon tubes, and see the painting of the sign.

Thanks Dave. We were out again this week for few days of hiking and came back with a few good shot of the high alpine. The creek and bees on the fireweed are on the trail up to some great alpine meadows.

Ha! Interesting shot, with you catching the guy on the roof, and the vast colorfull sunset clouds.

Say, seems to me that is a very unusall amount of clouds for New Mexico.
