From Saturday waking home from the tire shop. For the relatively quick time taking the shot, I quite like the result. The subtle curve of the hood, the angles, and the framing make me smile...

Abstract. Patterns in the sand at a black sand beach somewhere in Oregon on a 1998 trip. Scanned slide.

Nice to look at and it gets me thinking about the life that truck has lived and takes me to old vehicles that i have owned.

Thanks Steve. Its actually a pretty solid truck, especially for the age and our winters. I suspect it still gets used ocassionally or at least moved around of the buisness where it sits. Its got old school aluminium slots for wheels.

Ever tried to catch one in hand falling? It's actually rather challenging & frustrating at the same time.

Doesn't really count, but caught one that planted itself against the rear view mirror while driving yesterday.

Very nice Bob. Most of the ones in front of my place are still firmly attached to the trees but maybe I'll try to get outside one day and try.
