Found this Monument in the Obion River bottoms of Tennessee. I had heard of the event but found the monument just wandering in the boonies today.

Took a 180 mile ride but no pictures of the bike. Did take this one of some fish in a pond below a very dry waterfall though and really liked the reflection from the sky while editing it.

Been a while since I posted sunset/pier photo.
THis from the other evening.


I will admitt, doesnt take a lot of photographic talent. THe biggest factor is just to be there on occassion of an interesting sunset. And being in an intersting position to provide an interesting view.
(and, as I have said before, does help to have telephoto lens, and manaul exposure control.)

And morning walk on pier when was a ship arriving. (tug/barge actually. Tug McKee. Barge Commander, cement hauling, 300ft).
Have been looking for a diferent interesting persepctive.

THis view from holding camera way overhead, monopod fully extended, camera up higher than the catwalk (or what was catwalk, now has the planks removed). And operating camera with phone app.
