I was gonna guess some sort of Phlox.

and then using this tool

select 4-6pedal, and blue
and found a pholx that is kinda close

ANd then do a web search on "phlox", and see there are 60 some types of phlox
this one is lot closer

Was out in front yard again today..... rolling around on ground, mid 30s degF, good overcast, was snowing for a while, and then misting

Now with some closeup-filters.... maybe should have gotten them for a different lens....

Just now ordered a set of close-up filter for another lens that is faster. Maybe can use that when the trillium open up.
