The Dynatek ignition showed up Thursday so it was installed maybe 30 minutes ago. Hooked up the gravity tank, choke, and fired right off. Now for the timing check and carb sync and she will be about ready for that so anticipated first ride!!!

Everything on the bike works as it should. Gotta put the chain guard on and adjust the chain, put the headlight bucket and bulb on, put the seat and body work on and then roll her off the lift and see if it rolls on its own. Got the bike at 100% ( running on the bench anyways ) and am gonna actually ride it at some point today. Got the seat grab rail / trim bolted up. The only thing missing is the chromed plastic trim that goes around the crimp on the tank. Orielleys sells rolls of different sizes so looking into that is the next step.

Made a stop at Oriellys for the chrome trim. Really sets off the tank nicely.

Thanks all for the positive posts. I think its time for me to slow my roll and just work on projects for friends and such. My friend Mark wants my neighbors 80 Honda CB750 Super Sport and I will most likely be heavily involved in that project. I also have the second 78 1000C in the storage unit to get after. Well i felt sure enough about the bike to take it out on the freeway today where i could get some real life speed up. Ran at 75 MPH for maybe 10 miles and was very responsive and rode quite well. Its a fun little bike for sure.MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)
