    All moderately priced, have bags, are fun, are indestructible and have a personality. Adventure bikes are very comfy if one has longer inseams.

      Regarding the ST1100, I will also add that the ride is smooth and enjoyable. I added electronic cruise control to mine and it works well for me.

      Will also add that the bike will handle the twisty roads as well as a lot of other bikes. It will take curves a lot faster than I have the courage to do them. That's because I don't have the opportunity to do twisties in Nebraska.

      After following some other riders through the Ozarks for a couple of days, my chicken strips were nearly all gone. So it is a good "sport" touring bike. Just what Honda designed it to be.

          The PC800 is too "scooterish" to me. The ST still looks like a motorcycle for the most part. Seen a few without the rear saddle bags and they look pretty clean.

              Somebody should pick that one up and part it out. The parts are worth more then the whole bike in most cases. At $100 it's a no brainer.

                Eh, it's just a headache, and you're starting with a tiny population of people that own these to begin with. It would probably take a lifetime to get rid 90% of the parts, aside from the most "sought after" pieces. There's no way you'd lose money of course, it's just dealing with all the eBay shenanigans too, it can be cumbersome.

                    Yeah, just because you can turn a "profit" on paper doesn't mean it's worth the time and aggravation.

                      Parting that bike out would be a piece of cake. Many Madura parts are next to impossible to obtain. There may not be many owners out there but they are HUNGARY for parts.

                          Not really. The problem would then be what to replace it with. I don't see anything out there that I would be better off with.
