First run in over 8 years was flawless. Pulled 80 on the freeway like it was childs play. Very happy with how it turned out.

I started off reading the opening post and I have to say, stop worrying about the criticism from one member who takes pleasure in pushing your buttons. The rest of us look forward to your projects. Put decals on the side covers today and adjusted the switch positions a bit. Then I invited a buddy that has the 79 XS1100 for a ride. We went to a place called POPS out on reoute 66 just east of Edmond OK. Its a popular bike stop and when we pulled in ( and i will swear to it in any court ) of the 50 or so folks mingling in the lot nearly every one watched as we found a parking spot. Such a satisfying moment to know we shocked the house.
