Nice pics, but I thought a V-Strom was supposed to be a DS bike, all those with the exception of Brian's, which sorta kinda passes, look like full on road bikes????Comment

I have a 05 SV1k
It's a good bike, love the torque. Handling is good, could be better especailly after the suspension gets a few miles on it.
Works good on the track.
and as a sport touring bike.

Bought an '01 SV650 naked yesterday. No pictures yet.
So VERY different from my old GR. Technology has apparently moved on since the early '80's. Who knew?Comment

Thought I'd get a blue first gen, but then I saw this one. This is an '01 with 9700 miles, Buell footpegs, Progressive springs, R6 throttle, Kawasaki 636 shock. Pretty much as I want to set it up.Comment
