    Thoughts on Suzuki Intruder 1400

While not normally my style, I have the opportunity to pick up a low mileage 2001 1400 cruiser for little money from a friend of a friend...

Anyone have any experience with this bike? From sitting on it, the seat feels cramped and the bars are a little wonky. Have not ridden it, but it's been well taken care of with under 4k on the clock. (guy just bought a Harley and has no need for this one)

    Any input welcome.

    Thanks,

    Nic

True cruiser, cramped seat, wonky bars, does it have a small gas tank? Great machines mechanically though. If you get it cheap enough you can flip it in the Spring.
    sigpic2002 KLR650 Ugly but fun!
2001 KLR650 too pretty to get dirty

Life is a balancing act, enjoy every day, "later" will come sooner than you think. Denying yourself joy now betting you will have health and money to enjoy life later is a bad bet.

Agreed -- great shaft drive engine surrounded by all the standard stupid cruiser stuff. If it's not your thing, you can flip it easily if it looks decent.

Not really a high demand bike if it's the model I am thinking. They were selling them at Newmarket suzuki for 7299 if I recall correctly. Think the model was vs1400. I prefer this style for looks though.
