Can you make out this number?

The mileage on this odometer is very hard to read. How many miles do you see. After blowing up the picture a little it seems clear to me...
    My Motorcycles:
22 Kawasaki Z900 RS (Candy Tone Blue)
22 BMW K1600GT (Probably been to a town near you)
82 1100e Drag Bike (needs race engine)
81 1100e Street Bike (with race engine)
    79 1000e (all original)
    82 850g (all original)
    80 KZ 650F (needs restored)

After selling the Harley, I get a call from the guy who bought it. He said Norm, I thought you said it only had 12,000 miles on it! It says it has 72,000 miles! ... When he was looking at the motorcycle, it was cold in my garage. The odometer was not coming up at all. I just told him how many miles were on it. Told him when it warms up it will show the number. ..

          Another vote for 12621.3
For the leading 1 to be a 7, the top bar of same would have to be in line with the tops of the 0 and 2 on either side.

I'll just tell him, ride the thing for 8,000 miles. If 7 changes to a 8 then you'll know! Haha

Just tell him that if it had 72,000 miles it may have set a record for a Harley Davidson
