As to the H-D anything you do is going to tick off the purists so why worry. Big V-Twins are a dying market catering to a dying demographic, they should have started projects like this in the late 70's as far as I'm concerned. 32mpg is horrid in this day in age although I was somewhat surprised by the weight at only 560lbs. For $20k I'll take the Husky and a garage full of project bikes.

Add the luggage, spoke wheels and upgraded paint and it will easily be $35,000 to have one in the driveway.
