Thanks for the compliments, and yes the spokes and drum brakes front and rear are factory. Besides the bars, slip-on's, and the cafe seat, It's just a stock 450tx under there.Comment

here's my gsx400TX and the beaterbike GSX400EX.
Thanks everyone for posting your pix in here. I really enjoy seeing what you've done with these bikes

the interesting oddity on my parts/beater bike 'EX is this funny little rack.I do believe it's stock but I've only seen it once before.Unfortunately, the chrome is thrashed so I'll be painting it...Last edited by Gorminrider; 04-30-2013, 09:20 AM.Comment

Very nice... and yes, you have the optional sports rack made of unobtanium!
That's why I made my own to replicate it... they're impossible to find and when you see a bike with one on it, the owner doesn't want to part with it...

ah,Pete! Great! I was looking for your bike here .
..when I see your bike I sure miss my long-gone '72 CL350 Scrambler. It was a soggy thing compared to your bike but the insurance rate-class here meant it had a good $/fun ratio...IT needed a back-rack...
ps-you made that? too cool.yours is probably the other one I've seenLast edited by Gorminrider; 04-30-2013, 09:19 PM.Comment
