      According to the manual that's the right place to check the freeplay...

            I don't have a manual in front of me, but I seem to remember most specs calling for 2-3mm of play.

              I was thinking 4mm for some reason... but I'm sure we're close enough... 1/4" is a touch over 6mm give or take so not too far away I wouldn't think...
