clutchpack thickness clutch release maxed out

After installing a Vesrah clutch pack on my 750 8V the clutch release bolt has to be turned in so far the nut baraly fits on.
I could try and slip the clutch a lot to thin the plates ;-)
Anyone has the same experience with fat clutch plates ?

Sounds more like the clutch actuator is in the wrong position, the thrust bearing has been left out or similar.
