    With the proof that you have a 775, you need to adjust your thinking a bit, it is NOT a MOSFET R/R.

    MOSFET is simply the type of transistor that is used in the R/R. It is more efficient than the typical silicon transistor, so it is a bragging point, but it would still be in a shunt-type R/R, which the 775 is not.
    Sorry to respond for CK, but he said that he had a FAxxx unit, but he has subsequently bought a SH775 now.

      Ya I originally said mosfet my bad.

      put the cover back on today w new gasket, checked charging voltage. Not charging. So a new stator is on the way, and the cover’s coming back off.

        New stator arrived today, we are charging 14v @ idle thru a 25a fuse
