New clutch discs - no synthetics?

Ordered some EBC fibre discs and read that they don't recommend using synthetic oil.

    Anyone heard of this?

Btw, they were half the price of OEM

Hush, don't tell the clutch disks in my VX800... they're EBC, and I've used all sorts of different oil in it willy-nilly including three or four types of synthetics. All my bikes currently are running synthetic oil, and none have slipping clutches.

The crap about synthetics and slipping clutches is only one of the strangely persistent urban legends surrounding synthetic oil.

      Use whatever oil you want.
