Super hard clutch lever!

But really. A lot of my threads have been getting one stars. Including the GSR patches, my build thread, and more. Someone obviously doesn't like me. Whoever you are, if you have something to say, PM me or something. No sense in rating my threads with a one star.

Anyways, this bike would be near impossible to ride with the stiff clutch lever. I'd end up killing it at every stop. Or maybe a wheelie!

So tomorrow, I'll pull off the clutch cable and check for damage, although it's brand new......

This Is silly if the system is to have any merit ( which it never can ) then the person being rated has no right to complain.

The clutch lever is getting easier to pull in after doing it like 20 times everyday. Maybe I should try lubing it?

Through all of this have you followed the factory adjustment procedure for the cable and engagement mechanism?

Did this "hard pull" just start when you swapped the clutch cable?

So, it was easier before?

How much you tighten the clutch springs has no effect on how hard the clutch pull is.

Any new springs installed?

Did the new cable move freely - I mean with no effort whatsoever (like a weak mouse that has been in hospital for a month could move it)? If it did move easily and you routed it the right way (check the manual - it'll show you where it goes) then the problem is in your clutch.

Yeah, it's routed the way the factory manual says to.

It happened when I switched clutch cables. It was much easier before with my old cable.

I do not know. This clutch cable was in a box of parts when I got this bike. But it's brand new as far as I can tell.

Maybe someone snuck in your garage at night, and replaced your Suzuki clutch with one from a Harley!

Oh adjustment.... I tried adjusting it but didn't follow the factory manual. I'll try.

As a last resort, put the old one back on and see if it does the same thing? Kinda suck because then have to take back off to put the new one back on, but could eliminate the cable as the cause for the hard lever if it doesn't get easier.

How is the pivot point on the lever?
Reason I ask is I was able to replace my clutch lever today, the original one was egg shaped in the pivot hole, used some proper cable lube and waahlahh: like butter now, although it is taking some getting used to.
