Use a stock MLS gasket and you should be fine. Not sure about that much head torque though.Ed

Looks like a Cometic composite gasket.
I've blown a few of those before I started using copper.
Cometic even made a bad batch of 1166 gaskets and screwed up the oil pressure and drain ports. They p!ssed oil on start up.Comment

I will just say "in general", be careful of ordering head gaskets on Ebay.
I've had a few head gaskets that were "unopened NOS", then when it gets to my door, it's clearly been sitting on a greasy shelf, and got scratches on it. I even had the *******s at the post office bent the crap out of one gasket...luckily I got another one.Comment

Anyone have any experience with the head gaskets that Z1 sells? They seem to be way too inexpensive to be very good.
Z1 GS850 head gasket
Stock gasket is now selling for over $90+shipping.http://img633.imageshack.us/img633/811/douMvs.jpg

1982 GS850GLZ (Daily rider when the weather is crap)
Darn, with so many daily riders it's hard to decide which one to jump on next.;)

Penny wise and pound foolish. Unless you feel like replacing that in the near future, spring for the OEM gasket. Do it right, do it once.Anyone have any experience with the head gaskets that Z1 sells? They seem to be way too inexpensive to be very good.
