Need help from a drag racer. GS1100e

I picked up a spare motor for a GS1100e. It has this generator cover that has been modified so that it may be started with a remote starting unit. Check out the photo. Does anybody know how to get it off? Is it safe to assume it is bolted to the crankshaft? If so, are threads LH or RH? I dont need it once removed, and would trade it for some thing if anyone is interested. Thanks

Threads are regular right hand. Can't tell from your pic if there are other issues. Ray.

We just lock tited mine on my 1000. Try heat then tapping it with a hammer while you wiggle it.

You got some hillbilly rigged up stuff there. I have never seen a starter nut quite like that.
