It is a good idea.
I'd get an APE heavy duty clutch hub nut, a 1/2" electric impact from harbor freight and a 32mm impact socket.

A 1 1/4 inch socket works too & is easier to find. Ray.

With needle nose pliers you can up deeper, for those hard to reach nose hairs.
