You need at least some noise on all 16. My ears aren't that good anymore, so I take a half hour and measure them.Comment

If you don't hear them you are burning exhaust valves. Especially with these tappet/rocker style heads.

Yes, "tappy valves are happy valves", regardless of how many you have in your engine,

I just can't figure out how that black engine enamel keeps the crank from twisting.
