gs1100e engine squeak?

I've searched the fourm for something on this and could not find anything close to what's going on. I just replaced my intake boots and ran it around the block and when I came back I noticed that there is a squeak coming from the engine. When I increased the rpms it seems to go away or its drowned out by exhaust. Later I went to check it out again and it squeaks when bump the starter engine not running. The best way I can describe it is it sounds like something is out of round and is rubbing at a certain spot in rotation.

No its a definite squeak at not the starter clutch

I would pop valve cover and check cam journals where caps are. Not sure if the 1100's are prone to it but the 750's are lack of oil to top end

Not quite clear when the squeak occurs?

Does the squeak change when the engine is running at idle and you pull in the clutch lever?

No I'm not quite sure when it happens I think tonight after I get home I'm goin to take the plugs out and spin it around by hand and see if I can find where it happens but what's weird is it seems to go away when I raise the rpms

That may cause a squeeking sound.
Spraying the intake boots with starter fluid of brake cleaner usually
reveals a leak, the rpm will change if not ok.

Leaking top caps on the carbs may cause a squeek.

It's EXTREMELY easy to get one of the inner intake boots folded in instead of properly on the carburetor. Definitely check with a mirror and some strong lighting.

If your bike still has the airbox, the airbox/carb boots are even worse.

For that matter, I suppose the boot between the airboxes, the airbox lid, or the filter could all lead to an air leak sort of squeak noise.

check the color, maybe one is lighter than the others

That could be I had to spray out my pilot jets and had to take the carbs out I may need to make sure everything is tight and seated correct

And I did look at plugs before I started to try the idle air screws 1 is black 2 is white and 3 and 4 are grayish so I definitely need to adjust 1 and 2

#2 being white could also indicate a leak in the vacuum hose to the petcock.

A hole in the vacuum hose could sound like a squeak.

Well it's not vacuum related I fired it up and it did not squeak cold after a minute of running it started to squeak pulled all the plugs out and rolled over by hand and still squeaked sounds like it's coming from the front of the engine like by the exhaust port of the head
