Looking for GS Cafe Racer Inspiration

    Hi All,
I'm new here to the forum and I'm wondering if anyone could post some pictures of there cafe racer style GS bikes.

I have a 1979 GS550 which I'm looking to convert to cafe racer style, but cant seem to find any pictures of GS models searching the web.

I'm also looking for ideas for a replacement swingarm, anyone changed one.

      How "cafe" do you want?
      Something like this?
Pretty much as it came from the factory, except the exhaust and seat
and steering damper and fork brace and.......a few other things.
      This is a 1980 GS1000S. mine........

          do you understand german?

This is a nice GS 1000. The only problem is that the site is in german.

          Anyway, worth for the pics

Also try searching for the words "cafe racer suzuki" in google´s image finder, you'll find some interesting ideas to cop... ejem... to inspirate yourself.

I think that GS's are good machines for the Cafe Racer style, so go on with your project! we want to see some pics!

Here are a few shots of Jim-Cincinnati's 550 with clubman bars, teeny fairing, and, of course, the ever-fast, always smooth Jim in the saddle:

Here are several of Adam (AOD) on his blue 550 before he sold it:
              1983 GS850G, Cosmos Blue.
              2005 KLR685, Aztec Pink - Turd II.3, the ReReReTurdening
2015 Yamaha FJ-09, Magma Red Power Corrupts...
              Eat more venison.

Please provide details. The GSR Hive Mind is nearly omniscient, but not yet clairvoyant.
