Here's a pic of my wifes bike

Just thought I'd post a pic or two of the bike that so many of you have given your advice on. Not finnished, but close! Lowered with clip ons and streetfighter flyscreen. I did the paint myself, and my neighbor recovered the seat for me. Also LOTS of polishing ! What a mess that was!

Thanks alot! Glad you like it! Was the first bike I ever did fork seals on, and everyone on here was very helpful.

Not stock. Found it on ebay for like 40 dollars. I slid the fork tubes up, installed the clipons(ebay also) , and relocated the air suspension collars to the top side. All in all , it lowered the front end about 3".

that's why I put them on top of the tripple, instead of under. Plus being a "little" higher should help my wife feel a little more in control while she gets some miles under her belt.

I'm only 5 foot nine, 34 inch inseam. I used to only be able to touch the ground with my toes. Now my wife can sit flat footed.

Would you , or anyone else happen to know if early model GSXR wheels , or KATANA wheels will work on the original axels? I would like to be able to use more modern radial rubber , and a bit wider tire on the rear. And thanks for all the kind comments on the bike.

Im quite a bit taller, so i think i would be bending over a bit more to the bars...i still may give it a shot...didnt think the clipons over the tree would look good but that doesnt look bad at all..nice work sir!
