Thanks Bill. It looks good, but not my favorite thing. The geometry is way off. If you do it, fab up a center pivot point so the throw a few inches instead of a few feet. A foot clutch would also be preferable. The suicide clutch makes it way too difficult to start and stop.Originally posted by AF_Bill View Post

Guy's have been doin this kind of thing ever since shafty's came out. I have a honda shafty I hardtailed just like this and absolutely NO problems dude! Until you know for sure, why make assumptions?Originally posted by TheCafeKid View PostActually, not knocking the effort, but that looks pretty damn dangerous. Cut down to a single backbone with a hard strut and no other swingarm bracing? That thing is going to fold like a taco i fear.

You are really just Taunting us
First you don't post a picture with a matching red fender for months, and then when you finally do, it is with the Hindle on the opposite side
Cant we get both?
BTW, I will have a 86-88 GSXR 1100 Hindle pretty soon. I got the last one
I'll be sure to post pictures

That's the plan yes... Might have a fairing change by then.. I am toying with the idea of a Maier GS1000S replica style thing. Just bought one to try it out.Originally posted by renobruce View PostWOW, that looks great Dan! Love the carbs.
Are you bringing her up for the rally?
If I do that then the Givi currently fitted might go on the skunk for the ride.
Got to fit the new gaugeset & some work on the skunk to do too but should all be ready in time so both bikes should be coming...

Congrats on the Hindle. I wonder if they have any of the 750 pipes left? Might need to look into it for the slabbie.

It isn't really all that custom, but it is mine. Did the paint and exhaust mod/ carb tuning. Love the new sound of the takeaway HD pipes.

Since you've got a pair of Katana's there, I'll go ahead and take that 84 off your hands, you know, to spare you the shame of being called a Katana hog.Originally posted by Smokinapankake View PostWork in progress....

I do like the pop-ups, probably has something to do with me being raised in the 80's. Anyone have any idea of many of them are floating around?
