    Yeah, the PO had it all screwed up.
    In the beginning I didn't know what was wrong, it just didn't sound right. Then one night, I started it and found it extremely worrisome that it had this bright cherry glow to it. I took it in and had everything checked out now, it runs great, it sounds right, it's just all around as it should be.

    As for the pipe, I've decided it adds character to the bike.

                              Custom-ish. 81 GS450, Cafe style. Still a work in progress. Going to paint the wheels, black out all the chrome, wrap the exhaust, do something with the mufflers, lower the rear (front is already lowered), install matching front tire.....
