I also have an '82 1100e with an oil cooler. I can't tell from the pic, don't your oil cooler lines go straight down to the two bolts on the sides of the oil filter over?

      Thanks, Rob.

Yes, the lines do go straight down to the oil filter cover (an 1150 cover). I am going to get slightly longer lines and run them behind the cooler, or I may try to get an adapter to run them back to the port on the back of the motor where the oil pressure switch & temp sensor are located.

that has got to be the nicest modded 1100G I've seen yet. I followed your rebuild on that one, some very nice attention to details. Well done indeed sir, congratulations.

                    Good looking bike. Personal.
And on the seventh day, after resting from all that he had done,God went for a ride on his GS!
Upon seeing that it was good, he went out again on his ZX14! But just a little bit faster!

is that a stock front fender? I've recently purchased a 1980 GS850G and it came with that fender. a lot of people have been asking me where i got it IMG_3836.jpg

It's the stock fender for the 1100E in 82 and 83. Follow my Dahlia build for a look at a stock 850G fender. Not sure of fork spacing and mounting holes but if you have that fender you *might have an 1100E front end on it. Could be an upgrade, could be an accident repair. BTW you attachment is broken.

I have thought of doing something very similar in th past . How did you get the stickers to not fold or warp when wrapping around the round portions ? Heat Gun ?
