I had some of the rear hubspline retainer bolts get sheared off when the spline gave out, and in an attempt to save the wheel, we tried those "Grabit" bits...drilled the head out, stuck the bit in, snapped it off flush instantly...lol. Worse off then when we started..
BTDT. I had it happen on a header bolt. I managed to chip the extractor out with a nail punch and drilled a hole through the bolt big enough to tap for the correct bolt.

My rear brake cover had a badly hacked up screw. I cut a small slot in it with a dremel and removed it without damaging the cover. Just needed a new screw.

    Chris

    ps

An easy out is a reverse threaded taper. Drill a hole in the screw and insert the easy out. As it bites down it should loosen the screw.
    My descriptions suck

Use an easy out bit. They'll come out no problem, and since the screws are shot anyways, no big deal to buy four more.

Nice color on the calipers. Are they metallic? Kind of hard to tell in the pic.

Thanks Craiger, I'll post some installed pics later, it really blends nicely with the rest of the rear end without jumping out.

I have a new in package, Motion Pro cable I'll send you, or you can pick up if you are up this way, if you want it, being I'm going Push/Pull throttle on the VMs. I'll never use it. It is for a 700E, pretty sure the ES is the same.

They are only like $10-$20.. thru Dennis Kirk.

Just sent you a PM, I'll take it.
