Yeah the wife said if I dont keep it clean than I have to make room for her car.

I have been riding for a couple of months on the FZ, the shoulder is about 90%, doc said it will be a full year before everything heals back to normal. Took this thing up to the Ozarks last weekend witha couple of buddies..twisty heaven.

I need to replace some of the engine side cover bolts, the new stainless that replaced the old ones with are just slightly to long, so I have leaks on both sides. Also need to use evapo-rust on the tank, sync the carbs...before I can fire it up...Video to come!!

I know it is a labor of love; but it look really good. The Pewter is a nice color for subtle contrast

I like some of the colors you chose - for instance the charcoal (I think that's it) for the anit-dive and caliphers. I wish I would have been a bit more creative when I built my sons' 750. All that black doesn't look as sharp. Nice job again.

Thanks, I figured since I had the time and it was all apart, what better time to trick and detail. I really wanted it different without veering to far away from stock. I contimplated blue several times on some of the pieces to correspond with the decaling but it never really looked right, so I figured a pewter color would be suttle and kind of make it my own.
