I love mine.
It took a bit of work as the PO had painted the whole thing (windshield included). I stripped it and sanded a bunch. Polished the windshield with toothpaste to get out the haze.

The (2-part) paint match came out ok and i found matching pinstripes at NAPA. I did a good job, but not a great job.

I figured it gave me an extra 10km/hr down a certain straight stretch that i used to frequent.

The only downside is that it takes a little bit more time and hassle to get into the headlight. Also when it is off the bike, i need to put it somewhere out of the way.

That Maier looks nice on. What holds them onto the bike? Do them come with a braket or something?

just picked up this guy off of ebay for $35 shipped for my 82 650g...i couldnt pass it up...i like the smaller windsheild...ill add some pictures of it on the bike a little later
