    My favorite bike, the 1100G

    World's ugliest seat… Windjamers are OK but not for me.


    This is pretty much how I like it. But I did strip it down for a track day in August.
    No, I'd never mod it down into a cafe bike.

      Track bike?

      Don't look so bad, but under there I had to replace the cams because of a worn lobe. The tank was rusty inside too.
      I put a later model 4.5 wide rear wheel on, so it would accept modern radial tires.

            Not a GS, but probably the most dramatic before and after project I've ever done for myself anyway.. A 1972 Honda XL250.







            1979 GS1000S,

            1982 Honda CX500 Turbo, 1982 Honda MB5 w/CR80 motor, 1977 Honda "nekid" Goldwing, 1976 Honda CB550F cafe', 1972 Honda XL250 cafe'

              Well you knew I'd find this thread.

              When I got the 4 bikes


              Rougher than it looks in the pics.PO just rattle canned the black with the bodywork in place.Over OEM grapics to.

              Made her good enough to ride last summer.

              Torn down over the winter.

              And turn into Old Yeller.
