Engine is only 700cc right Joe? You hammering the bike to the extent where you need to squeeze every last bit out of it?Originally posted by jwhelan65 View PostSo anything to gain by swapping up to BS 34's versus the stock 32's ?
You might want to look up Billy Ricks and talk to him. Think he has aftermarket carbs on his 700 doesn't he? The right kind of carbs may improve throttle response, which would be a bigger improvement than just going larger.Ed
To measure is to know.

Good point yes 700cc, this thing runs better than any bike I have owned, probably the reason its still in my garage. However the suspension upgrades make it feel like it could handle much more but will probably leave it as is just ride it. Curious more than anything..Originally posted by Nessism View PostEngine is only 700cc right Joe? You hammering the bike to the extent where you need to squeeze every last bit out of it?

Hi Joe,
I was referred to your thread (the bike is beautiful, BTW) in response to a question I posted about using the 1150 wheels on my '85 750 EF.
I noted that you also switched the triples (for extra width). Was this necessary to use the wheels, or just to get a different feel at the bars?
Thanks for your help!Last edited by Guest; 03-21-2016, 12:42 PM.
